At the beginning of my studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna I saw a wonderful black dog - my first Flatcoated Retriever I had ever seen. I was so fascinated by this wonderful breed, that after the death of my beloved Axel I was looking for such a dog. 

Half a year later I got Aramis " Adonis vom Luftschloß" and we had a wonderful time together. 

Aramis taught me so much about dogs and life, so that I still miss him! He established my love for this particular breed and every day I feel so happy to have my Flats around me!
